Drone roof surveys · Durham & Teesside
From the old pit-village terraces of County Durham to the industrial roofs of Teesside, we survey the lot from the air — homes, units and estates — and give you dated proof of what’s up there.
The weather up here
County Durham and Teesside catch the same North Sea weather as the coast, with the added grief of exposed, high-lying villages where the wind never really lets up. On the older colliery terraces it is slipped tiles and failed pointing around the chimneys.
On the industrial and commercial stock around Middlesbrough, Stockton and Hartlepool it is the flat roofs that cause trouble — ponding, blocked outlets and tired felt that only shows itself once it is already leaking. Either way, seeing it early is the difference between a repair and a replacement.
Roofs we fly
Durham’s cathedral-city conservation stock, the terraces of Darlington and Bishop Auckland, and the commercial and industrial roofs of Teesside — we fly domestic and commercial alike, and provide dated condition reports for landlords, insurers and dilapidations where you need them.
